Review Policy
Peer Review
Initial Screening
Upon receipt, each paper is examined by the editorial team for scope, language quality, similarity, and formatting. Manuscripts that fall outside the conference themes, demonstrate a high similarity index (plagiarism check), or suffer from critical language issues will be rejected or returned for improvement without entering the peer review stage.
Double-Blind Peer Review
Full papers that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers. ICCESS employs a double-blind review model — the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the process, guaranteeing impartial evaluations.
Review Criteria
Reviewers assess each manuscript based on the following criteria:
Originality and scientific contribution
Theoretical and methodological soundness
Clarity of argument and logical coherence
Relevance to the conference themes
Quality of English and overall presentation
Decision
Based on the reviewers’ detailed comments, one of the following decisions is made:
Accepted – No or only minor revisions required.
Conditionally Accepted – Major revisions are necessary; the revised manuscript will be re-evaluated.
Rejected – The paper does not meet the acceptance standards.

Ethics and Originality
All submissions must be the authors’ original work. Any form of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or multiple submission will result in immediate rejection.
By submitting a paper, authors confirm that the work has not been published elsewhere, accepted for publication, or submitted to another concurrent conference or journal.
ICCESS reserves the right to use plagiarism detection software on all submissions.
AI Tools Usage Policy
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools
Authors are required to be transparent about any use of AI and AI-assisted technologies (e.g., large language models, chatbots, image generators) during the preparation of the manuscript. Please observe the following rules:
Authorship: AI tools cannot be credited as authors or co-authors. Only natural persons can take responsibility for the content.
Disclosure: The use of AI tools for tasks such as literature search, data analysis, language polishing, or generating initial drafts must be clearly described in the acknowledgments or the methods section. Over-reliance on undisclosed AI-generated text is not permitted.
Accountability: Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the entire manuscript, including any parts generated or modified with the assistance of AI.
Prohibited Use: Submitting AI-generated content as original work without proper disclosure constitutes a form of academic misconduct and will lead to immediate rejection. The conference reserves the right to use AI-detection tools alongside standard plagiarism checks.
